QRS Solutions Updates
With many thanks to our wonderful customers, QRS Solutions has been having a very good year!
In August, we opened our second office to include depot services in the Dallas/Fort Worth, Texas area. Our customers now have two convenient locations for depot service. With this expansion, we will be adding our 4th full-service mobile calibration laboratory which will hit the road by the end of the year. In addition, we are going to add additional calibration capabilities to our scope in the coming months, so please stay tuned for more information.
Our sales team has also had a very big year. In September, we attended a Datrend Systems Distributor meeting in Dublin, Ireland where we were presented the award for Top Sales organization for the Americas! This was very exciting for us as we have been working very hard to share the solutions that Datrend has for HTM organizations in testing and automation. We were then surprised with another award, being the #1 Datrend Distributor in the world for 2017-2018. These awards are really due to our customers, who have and continue to support the QRS and Datrend partnership. So, a big shout out and thank you to you, our loyal customers.
An update on Seaward Group/Rigel Medical. We have recently decided to end our 8-year partnership with Rigel Medical, as we continue to focus on those products and solutions that we feel the best match our vision of accuracy and automation for HTM organizations. We are no longer an “Authorized” sales and service center for Rigel Medical and therefore will not perform warranty repairs or calibrations on their behalf.
Looking forward to 2019, we are working toward to ISO 17025 accreditation for calibrations and getting that in place to service those manufacturers and remanufacturers requiring this level of calibrations for their maintenance systems. While we understand that this will not directly affect most hospitals or independent service organizations, we want to be prepared for future changes and be involved in this process when our customers need it.
